I first went to Claire as I had been suffering from ongoing anxiety. The counselling helped me to understand the reasons behind my anxiety, and enabled me to cope with those negative feelings. The psychotherapeutic process allowed me to feel content in myself again.

I was very apprehensive about my first counselling session in Dublin City Psychotherapy: however, when I arrived, I was immediately put at my ease. I felt welcomed and not judged which enabled me to open up about different issues that had been affecting me. The process helped me examine my issues and I can now deal with things differently.

After many months of experiencing depression, I finally found the courage to approach a psychotherapist. I attended DCP on a regular basis and found the counselling there gave me space to think about my life, finding alternative ways to deal with what were for me difficult life problems.

I experienced what is called a mid-life crisis and was completely floored by it. I sought counselling in Dublin City Psychotherapy to try to make sense of what was happening in my life. The expert and professional approach of the therapist enabled me to sort out my issues and work through the crisis.
