Know that you are not alone when it comes to seeking professional assistance. In all sectors of society, across all age groups, speaking about one’s difficulties has never been more important than it is in today’s modern Ireland. Increasingly, we are seeing health professionals, politicians and even celebrities speaking out about the importance of strong mental health and psychotherapy services.
Claire Hawkes has been providing support, guidance and a listening ear through a psychoanalytic approach to counselling for over 20 years and is dedicated to contributing in her own way to an increased understanding of mental health in Ireland. Her unique approach means that she not only addresses the presenting issues but also explores the underlying psychological causes of your distress. Claire’s overall approach to psychotherapy and counselling aims to assist you by working through your current difficulties and equipping you with the knowledge and strength to work through any difficult situations that may arise in the future.
Seeking professional help and guidance is the very first and most important step you can take in dealing with any emotional or mental trauma. Once you have made this decision, the path becomes clearer.
At Dublin City Psychotherapy, Claire Hawkes provides counselling and psychotherapy for adults, without bias or prejudice for a wide range of emotional and mental health concerns:
The list above is by no means exhaustive, so please do feel free to get in touch if you would like to speak with Claire about an issue or condition that is not listed. Every individual is unique and there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to psychotherapy, this is why Claire will really take the time to listen and decide best how to proceed based on presenting concerns.
